China Water Affairs Clarifies Incorrect Media Reports

 

(June 14, 2022, Hong Kong) China Water Affairs Group Limited (“China Water Affairs” or the “Company”; stock code: 0855.HK) clarifies that several media reports which are noted today with a headline of “China Water Seeks Up to $21 Million in Rights Offering to Pay Debts” (Headline in Chinese:中國水務尋求高達2100萬美元配股償還債務) have incorrectly cited another company with similar name as the Company. The Company has no recent plan for rights issue or share placement.

 

China Water Affairs has maintained sound and stable profitability and financial position. For the first half of fiscal year 2022, the Company’s revenue increased by 26.1% YoY to HK$6,473 million, and net profit reached HK$1,579 million, representing an increase of 24.6% YoY.
