In a Facebook post on Tuesday night, May 31, Jason admitted that he and her wife Moira are now separated. The news came after a month of speculations that the couple are going through a rough time in their marriage.

According to Jason, his statement was the “hardest thing I’ve ever had to write.” But he wanted to be the one to explain and confirm the news.

He admitted that while he truly loves Moira, he cheated during their marriage.

Jason wrote, “3 years ago, I married my bestfriend with the intent of spending the rest of my life with her. Though my love for her has always been genuine, a few months ago, I confessed to Moira that I have been unfaithful to her during our marriage.”

He added that he admitted to Moira his mistake because he knows that his wife deserves to know the truth.

“I believe that she deserved to know the truth rather than continue down a “peaceful” but dishonest path. I take full responsibility and I’m doing my best to be better,” Jason shared.

In the end, he apologized to everyone who was hurt with his actions, especially his wife Moira. “From the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry for everyone I hurt. Especially Moi,” Jason ended.

Jason added that their love for each other will remain and they’re requesting for privacy.

Last April, breakup rumors between the couple started to spread after the singer deleted their photos on Instagram. Moira also deleted their TikTok videos. However, Jason tweeted vehemently denying the allegations.

He tweeted, “1. We’re still married 2. Hindi nangaliwa si Moira 3. We both support Ms. Leni 4. Walang nag nakawan ng pera 5. God is good.”

Because of Jason’s confirmation, the couple trended on Twitter as netizens expressed their thoughts and reactions.

They had a beautiful garden wedding in Tagaytay in 2019 but were already civilly married in 2018. The couple said they reserved their first kiss in their actual wedding.
