MANILA, Philippines – Most of the banks are closed from Maundy Thursday until Easter Sunday, April 14 to 17, for the observance of Holy Week 2022. View on this page for the updated list of bank schedules.
Malacañang Palace through Proclamation No. 1236 declared Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, April 14 and 15, as regular holidays and April 16, Black Saturday, as special non-working day.

Metrobank
In observance of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, Metrobank branches will be closed from April 14 to 15, 2022.
NOTE: A number of branches are open on April 14 and Black Saturday (April 16) to serve your banking needs. You may see the list of branches: https://www.metrobank.com.ph/branch-schedule
Metrobank also advised that PESONet transactions made between 3:01 PM, April 13, 2022, and 11:59PM, April 17, 2022, on Metrobank Online and the Metrobank Mobile App will be processed on the next banking day, April 18, 2022.
“If you need to transfer on the same day, you may use InstaPay and send up to PHP 50,000 to other banks,” Metrobank said.
BDO Unibank
All branches will be closed from April 14 (Maundy Thursday) to April 17 (Easter Sunday).
Operations will resume on Monday, April 18, 2022.
You may also bank from anywhere with BDO Pay or BDO Online Banking.

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
All branches will be closed from April 14, 2022 (Thursday) to April 15, 2022 (Friday).
Branch operations will resume on Monday, April 18. “We encourage you to plan your branch transactions ahead.”
BPI Online, BPI Mobile app, ATMs, and Cash Accept Machines (CAMs) will remain available.
PS Bank
All PSBank branches nationwide will be closed on Apr 14-15, 2022, Holy Thursday and Good Friday.
Meanwhile, all PSBank ATMs and PSBank Mobile/Online will be available for your banking needs.
Philippine National Bank (PNB)
PNB branches will be closed on Friday, April 15.
On April 14 and 16, PNB NAIA 1, 2 and 3 branches including the FX booths will be open.
Regular banking operations will resume on Monday, April 18.
China Bank
All China Bank branches will be closed from Maundy Thursday, April 14 to Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022.
Banking operations will resume on Monday, April 18, 2022.
“We encourage you to use China Bank’s digital channels, available 24/7 — Mobile App, Online Banking and Phone Banking. Our ATMs will be available on Black Saturday 12:00nn onwards.”
Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC)
RCBC Branches will be closed on April 14 and 15.
“You may also continue banking with us through our ATMs and our online app, RCBC Digital.”
Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCom)
PBCom branches will be closed on April 14 (Maundy Thursday) and April 15 (Good Friday).
“Please plan your banking transactions ahead to avoid inconvenience. We will resume branch bank operations on April 18, Monday.”
Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK)
All LANDBANK branches will be CLOSED on April 14 and 15.
LANDBANK ATMs and electronic banking channels such as the LANDBANK Mobile Banking App, iAccess, WeAccess, Link.BizPortal, Electronic Tax Payment System, LANDBANKPay, and Phone Access will remain available for your immediate banking needs.
Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP)
DBP will be conducting system maintenance activities from 7:00 AM of April 14, 2022 to 12:00 PM of April 15, 2022.
All bank transactions will not be available for the duration of these scheduled activities including ATM services. As such:
- All DBP ATMs will be inaccessible, and
- All DBP cardholders will be unable to use their cards in other banks
EastWest Bank
All EastWest stores will be closed on April 14 and 15, 2022.
“Our ATMs, EastWest Online and the EastWest Mobile App are available for your essential banking needs,” the bank said.
On Black Saturday and Easter Sunday (April 16 and 17), the following mall-based stores will be open:

- 168 Mall: Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Greenhills – Shopping Center: Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Baclaran: Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Regular banking operations shall resume on Monday, April 18.
Maybank Philippines
All Maybank branches will be closed on April 14 & 15 2022 in observance of the Holy Week.

All branches nationwide will be closed on April 14 and April 15.

All branches will be closed on April 14 and 15, 2022.
