Documentary requirements were collected through the agency’s E-Scholarship Application System beginning October 2021. These documents, including the students’ grades in Grades 9-11, which were obtained and verified from their respective schools, were evaluated.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF DOST SCHOLARS
DOST-SEI scholars are required to render service in the country preferably along their fields of specialization after graduation for a period equivalent to the number of years they enjoyed the scholarship as a return service.
SEI maintains its resolve that this strategy allows the country’s industries to have “the best minds” to do their services and products.
In the 2021 DOST S&T Undergraduate Scholarship Program, the agency named 8,067 qualifiers. Announcement of results took some time and was released in August last year due to “new selection scheme.”
In the 2020 DOST scholarship exams, a total of 9,788 out of 102,526 (9.55%) examinees clinched their slots. Results were announced in five (5) months after the exam.
In the 2019 S&T Undergraduate Scholarship Program, DOST-SEI named 9,852 out of 73,712 (13.37%) who passed the tests. This was a record-breaking increase from previous exam, which was up by 10%. Results were released in more than five (5) months after the exam.
The official list of qualifies will be available on this page immediately as announced online by DOST-SEI. Monitor this page from time to time for more announcements.
