MANILA, Philippines – The grand coronation night for the 70th edition of Miss Universe pageant happens on Sunday, December 12, 2021 (Monday, December 13 7:30 am Philippine time) at the Universe Dome, Port of Eilat in Eilat, South District, Israel.

Pageant fans in the Philippines can watch the live airing of Miss Universe 2021 Competition through free TV, cable and satellite TV.

Eighty (80) candidates are vying for the most coveted title and the privilege of being the Miss Universe 2021.

Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez is all-out for the country’s fifth Miss Universe crown. She was among the hot picks by pageant enthusiasts.

During the preliminary competition, Bea captivated Pinoy pageant fans. She strutted down the catwalk as she showed off her “Silent Killer Walk.” Her fiery red, asymmetrical gown with cutouts by Francis Libiran for the evening gown competition was a picture of sophistication.

Sixteen (16) candidates from the pool will be announced at the start of the pageant. This includes one winner of the fan votes. Judging is based on closed-door interview and preliminary competition, which featured contestants competing in swimsuit and evening gown.

The competition will feature the return of Steve Harvey as host.
