MANILA, Philippines – One bettor became an instant multi-millionaire after winning Php 100 million from the 6/58 lotto draw on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
The lone winner hit the winning combination 20-22-09-54-06-19 of the Ultra Lotto 6/58 of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) with a total jackpot prize of Php 100,064,568.00.

The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
As provided in the TRAIN law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent final tax. Once the jackpot is claimed by the winner, it would be less 20 percent.
The 6/58 is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. To join, one must select 6 numbers from 1 to 58 or play Lucky Pick for randomly generated numbers. Each bet costs P20.
The Ultra Lotto was last won on March 20, 2022 by a lone winner who bought ticket at a lotto outlet in City of Manila.
In the history of lotto in the country, the jackpot of P1.18-billion for Ultra Lotto, which was won by two lucky bettors in October 2018, was the biggest so far.

PCSO general manager Royina Garma urged the public to patronize PCSO games to generate more funds to be used to assist Filipinos.
The PCSO serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
