MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has rescheduled the March 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on earlier date and set new opening and deadline of filing applications.
Instead of March 26, 2023, the first LET this year will be conducted on March 19, 2023.
PRC cited the conflict on schedule with the Career Service Exam-Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) Professional and Sub-professional levels that was set by the Civil Service Commission on March 26, 2023.
“With the sheer number of the expected March 2023 CSC examinees nationwide in addition to that of the LET, the Commission’s largest examination, the Commission foresees potential difficulty in securing venues and examination personnel,” PRC said in Resolution No. 1597A series 2022.
“There is a probability that some examinees applied to take both the LET and CSC examinations; as such, said examinees may be forced to choose which examination to take if both examinations are held simultaneously,” the Commission added.
Resolved further, the opening and deadline of application are on December 12, 2022 and February 6, 2023, respectively.
