MANILA, Philippines – The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) activates On-Line Exam Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) for Computer-Assisted Examination (CAEx) for the PNP Entrance Examination on March 10-11, 2021.

The CAEx will be held at the NAPOLCOM Central Office in Quezon City on the following dates:

  • March 15, 16, 18, 19, 22, 25, 26, 29 and 30, 2021
  • May 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11 and 14, 2021
  • June 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, 25, 28 and 29, 2021

The NAPOLCOM CAEx for the PNP Entrance Examination is open to all Filipino citizens who meet the age and educational requirements, as well as to Patrolman/Patrolwoman whose appointments are temporary for lack of appropriate eligibility.

Those who passed the examination are conferred by the Commission the PNP Entrance eligibility which is appropriate for appointment to the rank of Patrolman/Patrolwoman as prescribed under Section 30 of Republic Act No. 6975, as amended by Republic Act No. 8551.

Strictly no walk-in applicants, NAPOLCOM said.


NAPOLCOM online registration

Applicants must log in to caex.napolcom.gov.ph and choose the desired date of examination then fill out the mandatory fields. Here is the step-by-step guide:

1. Applicant accesses the OLEASS for CAEX.

2. Fills out the mandatory fields and press the NEXT button.

3. Chooses the desired date of examination and hit SUBMIT button. A CONFIRMATION will appear if registration was successful. If not, the process should be repeated.

4. Open the link to print the Letter of Confirmation.

5. Applicant proceeds to the NAPOLCOM Central Office on the date and the time stated on the Letter of Confirmation with the complete requirements.


NOTE: Only fifteen (15) examinees will be accommodated per examination day.



The OLEASS for CAEX will be available on March 10, 2021 at 12:00 n.n. to March 11, 2021.



WHAT TO BRING WHEN FILING

1. The emailed confirmation slip, an Application Form and Index card, duly accomplished by the applicant and two (2) recent and identical 1×1 ID pictures (in color) with white background and complete name tag (indicate rank, if PNP member, Last Name, Middle Name and First Name).

2. Examination Fee: Php 600.00

3. One (1) legal-size window envelope.

4. Transcript of Scholastic Record (with Special Order issued by CHED) and form CHED-accredited schools, state universities and colleges.

5. College/university diploma.

6. Birth Certificate (BC) in Security Paper issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) or Certified True Copy of BC issued by the Local Civil Registrar (LCR) and duly authenticated by the PSA.

7. For Patrolman/Patrolwoman with temporary appointment, a certified true copy of Attested Appointment, Plantilla Apppointment or Special Order.

8. One (1) government issued ID with signature (SSS, GSIS, Voter’s, Postal, Passport, Driver’s License, PRC etc.). Strictly “NO ID, NO PROCESSING.”

9. In view of the alleged confusion on the submission of Medical Certificate as one of the requirements for the NAPOLCOM Computer Assisted Examination, the NAPOLCOM reiterates that the required Medical Certificate indicating that the examinee is COVID-19 FREE must be issued by a Licensed Government Physician assigned or working in a Barangay/Municipal/City/Provincial Health Office or other government health monitoring center/office where the applicant resides, within 72 hours before the examination day.


Rapid test result, Barangay Certificate or Medical Certificate issued by a private health institution or clinic will not be accepted.


WHERE TO GET APPLICATION FORM AND INDEX CARD

The application form and index card can be obtained for FREE at the Examination Division One-stop Shop, NAPOLCOM Central Office at the 7th Floor, DILG-NAPOLCOM Center, EDSA corner Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.


NOTIFICATION OF EXAMINATION

A qualified applicant shall be issued a Notice of Admission (NOA) on the day he/she files his/her application and after completing the application process, he/she will be required to proceed to the Examination Center (20th Floor) to take his/her examination.


EXAMINATION COVERAGE


The three-hour examination consisting of objective-type / multiple choice items covers the following subject areas:

1. General Information (Philippine Constitution, Philippine Law and History, Criminal Justice System, Current Events and Social Awareness)

2. Verbal Reasoning (comprehension)

3. Quantitative Reasoning (basic concepts, number series, problem solving skills)

4. Logical Reasoning (verbal, non-verbal, judgment/critical/analytical thinking)

5. Values/Uprightness


WHAT TO WEAR ON EXAMINATION DAY


Wear plain white shirt, dark pants and shoes.

Examinees not in the prescribed attire will not be allowed to enter the examination center.

NOTIFICATION OF RESULTS

The list of passers will be posted at the NAPOLCOM Central Office and at the NAPOLCOM website.

Certicate of Eligibility or Report of Rating will be given personally to the examinee after the examination.

Note that examinees who failed in the NAPOLCOM CAEx shall wait for THREE (3) months after his/her date of examination before he/she is allowed to take the PNP Entrance Examination through computer-assisted mode.
