MANILA, Philippines – The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) opens Monday, February 14 the Online Exam Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) for the applicants of April 2022 PNP Entrance and on February 19 for promotional exam. See link of online registration/application form here.

NAPOLCOM Vice Chairman and Executive Officer (VCEO) Vitaliano N. Aguirre II said that the conduct of the police examinations will be on April 9, 2022 for the PNP Entrance (PNPE) Examination and on April 10, 2022 for the PNP Promotional Examinations.

The PNPE Examination is open to all Filipino citizens who are not more than 30 years old and bachelor’s degree holder. Patrolmen/Patrolwomen whose appointments are temporary for lack of appropriate eligibility are also required to take said entrance examination.

On the other hand, the Promotional Examinations are open exclusively to all qualified uniformed members of the PNP who meet the minimum qualification standards for examination in terms of rank and eligibility.

The OLEASS shall be opened at 12:00 NN onwards for the PNPE Examination on February 14 for applicants with family names starting with A and B; February 15 for applicants with family names starting with C, D, E and F; February 16 for applicants with family names starting with G, H, I, J, K and L; February 17 for applicants with family names starting with M, N, O, P and Q; and February 18 for applicants with family names starting with R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z.

OLEASS PROCEDURES/HOW TO APPLY?

1. Access www.napolcom.gov.ph or https://www.oleass-napolcom.com/.

2. Accomplish the one-page application form by filling out all of the blank fields provided on the screen. Submission will not be successful until all the required fields are properly accomplished.

Tips

  • Use the scrollbar to select the desired option for promotional examinations and city/municipality.
  • When the search result is shown, click on the desired information to select the same. Use the exact keywords when searching.
  • Use the navigation key to select the month, day and year for the date of birth.
  • For applicants without a middle name, just key in a period (.)

3. When the encoding is completed, click the SUBMIT button. A notification message will appear on screen confirming that you have successfully submitted your application. You can immediately print the confirmation letter displayed on the screen.

4. Access the Query Module of the OLEASS for the electronic filling out of application form. Enter all the information in the application form, print and present to the Regional Office during your scheduled appointment date together with the confirmation schedule.

5. Proceed to the NAPOLCOM Regional Office or to the office indicated on the confirmation letter and present all the documentary requirements for assessment, payment of prescribed fees and issuance of Notice of Admission (NOA).

6. For applicants who failed to print their confirmation letter and Application Form, QUERY/VIEW facility is available here (for activation).

Aguirre said that in view of resource constraints, the NAPOLCOM Regional Offices limit the number of examinees they will accommodate. Acceptance of online applications shall be on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis and, upon due notice, may be stopped even ahead of the deadline.

“Taking into consideration the COVID-19 cases in the areas where the examinations are to be administered, the concerned Regional Office reserves the right to limit the number of examinees to be accommodated. The NAPOLCOM can also cancel the examination anytime, as may be required by the concerned LGU,” VCEO Aguirre II said.


PERIOD OF FILING APPLICATION

The period of filing of applications with complete requirements is from February 21 to March 14, 2022.


EXAM FEE

Examination fee is P400 for the PNP Entrance and Police Officer 4th Class Examinations; P450 for Police Officer 3rd Class Examination; P500 for Police Officer 2nd Class Examination; and P600 for Police Officer 1st Class Examination.


TESTING CENTER

The OLEASS allows PNPE and Promotional Examination applicants to choose the examination center where they want to take the examination regardless of their place of residence.


WHERE TO FILE APPLICATION?

An applicant should file his/her application documents in person at any of the 17 NAPOLCOM Regional Offices on his/her scheduled appointment date.


WHAT TO BRING?

Confirmed PNPE applicants must bring the following:

  • E-mailed Confirmation Slip
  • Duly accomplished Application Form and Index card
  • Two recent, identical in color 1”x1” ID pictures with white background and complete name tag (for PNP members, the name tag should indicate the rank before the name)
  • One legal size window envelope with P21 worth of mailing stamp
  • Transcript of Scholastic Record (with Special Order issued by CHED)
  • Diploma issued by CHEd-accredited schools, state universities and colleges
  • Birth Certificate in security paper issued by the PSA
  • One Government-issued ID with signature (SSS, GSIS, Voter’s, Postal, Passport, Driver’s License, PRC) Strictly “No I.D., No Processing”

Patrolman/Patrolwoman applicants with temporary appointment must bring a certified true copy of Attested Appointment, Plantilla Appointment or Special Order and one Government-issued ID with signature.

Applicants for the Promotional Examinations should submit the following:

  • first four (4) requirements mentioned above;
  • the certified true copy of Attested Appointment, Plantilla Appointment or PNP Absorption Order;
  • Certificate of Eligibility/Certification issued by the NAPOLCOM Central Office, CSC Certificate of Eligibility or PRC Board Certificate; and
    one Government-issued ID with signature.


Summary of procedures
: Print out your system-generated OLEASS Letter Confirmation of Appointment and filled-out Application Form and proceed to the NAPOLCOM Regional Office on the date indicated therein, with complete documentary requirements.


NOTE:
Examinee who fails in an examination, or after being admitted to take said examination, fails to take it for one reason or another, need not resubmit the requirements in the event he/she applies to take the same examination in the same examination center. In such cases, the applicant will only have to: submit the ADMISSION SLIP of the last examination applied for; fill out a new application form and index card with ID pictures; and pay the examination fee.
